Dear Friends of Frank & Bubba, The Frank Barry Memorial Classic Golf Committee, Family and Friends wish to thank you for your past support and generosity through Hole Sponsorships and other donations over the years.
Not
only do Frank and Bubba's memories live on in this one fun-filled
day, but their generous spirit comes back to life throughout the
year by numerous good works we have been able to fund. Since
its inception the Classic has quietly donated over $118,000. We have
given high school scholarships, donations to Mercyhurst University
and an assortment of projects benefiting Monsignor Bonner High
School and its students. In addition, we have been able to
help numerous " Friends of Frank" and their families in times of
need.
As you can see there
is an enormous amount of good happening in Frank and Bubba's memory.
None of this would be a reality without the support and generosity
of people like you.
This year
the Frank and Bubba’s Classic will donate a portion of the proceeds
to the “Jake Gittlen Cancer Research Foundation” at the Penn State
Hershey Medical Center. The Gittlen Lab is headed up by Dr. John
Kreider and his team of 7 Scientists. Dr. John Krieder and Mary Kay
Howett of the Gittlen Cancer Foundation were pioneers of the first
vaccine to prevent cervical cancer.
We look
forward to keeping Frank and Bubba's memories alive through the
tournament and more importantly through their charitable spirit.

Two years ago we also created
"The Golf In Peace Gallery." It was created to remember
all of our family and friends that will be watching us on that fine
day from a place where bogey's are not known and "On Eagles Wings"
means 2 under par on every hole. Look at the section further
